129.02 FEE FOR OFF-DUTY POLICE AND CRUISERS.
   (a)   The Director of Public Safety is hereby authorized to provide off-duty police patrolmen and patrol cruisers for such traffic control and protection, under such conditions and rules as he determines necessary.

   (b)   The charge for the use of the police patrol cruisers shall be twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour for all travel and time, to and from, and on the job, with a minimum charge of twenty dollars ($20.00).

   (c)   In addition to the charges for the use of the patrol cruisers, off-duty patrolmen shall be paid their prevailing hourly rate for the services stipulated and agreed to by the contractor and the officer-in-charge of off-duty work. Such wages shall be paid in a manner mutually agreeable to all concerned parties.
   (d)   The charges for use of the patrol cruiser shall be paid by check, payable to the City, forwarded to the office of the Safety Director and paid into the City General Fund.
