There shall be assistants in the office of the Director of Law, who shall be appointed by the Director of Law and who shall hold office until their successors are appointed and accepted. The assistants shall perform such duties as may be required of them by the Director of Law. No one except an attorney admitted to practice law in this State shall be eligible for appointment as an assistant to the Law Director. (A.O.)
