(a) The following listed elected officials and/or employees shall obtain an individual surety bond in an amount not less than that enumerated below:
(1) City Treasurer - $100,000.
(2) Income Tax Director, Income Tax Auditors, and employees who participate in the collection of taxes - $10,000 each.
(3) City Auditor - $25,000.
(4) Clerk of Municipal Court - amount fixed by the judges of the Court.
(5) Deputy Clerks of Court - amount fixed by the judges of the Court.
(6) Chief Bailiff - $3,000.
(7) Deputy Bailiffs - $1,000.
(b) Elected officials and appointing authorities not enumerated in subsection (a) hereof shall determine the need, if any, to obtain bonds for either themselves or their employees that will secure the faithful performance of their duties and insure the proper accounting for all moneys or property received. The amount of the bond shall be at the discretion of the elected official or appointing authority, and where possible, shall be a blanket bond.
