(a) The Director of Public Service/Safety may revoke or suspend any license issued under this chapter where it appears that the operator or massage technician has been convicted of any offense which would be cause for denial of a license upon an original application, has made a false statement on an application for a license, has committed an act in violation of this chapter or has otherwise failed to comply or maintain compliance with the requirements of this chapter.
(b) The Director, in revoking or suspending a massage establishment license or massage technician license, shall give the licensee a written notice specifying the grounds therefor. Such person may thereafter appeal such action in accordance with the provisions set forth in Chapter 149, License Appeals Board, of the Codified Ordinances.
