Any owner, administrator, employee or volunteer of a nursing home, rest home or home for the aging or other person required to register pursuant to this chapter who fails to register with the Director of Public Safety or his designee or otherwise violates any provision of this chapter shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. Each day of continuing violation shall constitute a separate offense.
