(a) Every person to whom a license is issued to conduct limited lodging, a rooming house, or lodging house, or someone under his direction, shall at all times keep a standard hotel register in which shall be inscribed the names of all guests or persons renting a room.
(b) Such registration shall be made, and after the name is so inscribed, or registered, the manager of the house or his agent shall write the number of the room which such guest or person is to occupy, together with the time when such room is rented, all of which shall be done before such person is permitted to occupy such room. Such register shall be at all times open to inspection by any guest of the house wherein such register is kept and to any executive or police officer of the City or State. (Ord. 122-2018.
