(a) Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 723.14, an arcade licensee may apply to the Director of Public Safety for a special hour arcade license which would allow such licensee to remain open after 11:00 p.m. Said license shall cost an additional five hundred dollars ($500.00) per year for amusement device arcades and fifty dollars ($50.00) per year for family- oriented entertainment device arcades.
The Director of Public Safety may revoke such license upon his determination that such licensee has created a private or public nuisance.
(b) No person under eighteen years of age shall be permitted in any amusement device arcade establishment of such a license after 11:00 p.m. Sunday night through Thursday night, and after 12:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights in family-oriented entertainment device arcades. The rules and regulations as enacted by Council for such an operation under special hour arcade license shall be posted by and enforced by the owner-operator of such operation.
