A license issued for one ambulance shall not be transferred to another ambulance unless there is an application for transfer filed with the Director of Public Safety showing a substitution of the latter for the first. The owner shall file an application for a new ambulance in conformance with all the requirements of this chapter as upon original licensing and the Director may issue a new license if satisfied that the substituted ambulance meets the requirements of this chapter. The fee for the license transfer for the substituted ambulance shall be five dollars ($5.00).
Any change of ownership of a licensed ambulance shall automatically terminate the license. The sale, transfer or assignment of an ambulance license shall likewise automatically terminate such license.
