The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to:
(A) Vehicles operated by members of the police or fire departments or ambulances when operated in response to an emergency call or proceeding to the scene of a fire or when parked pursuant to such a call or at the scene of a fire.
(B) Vehicles operated by employees of the city of Burley in performing city duties.
(C) Vehicles while used in the course of construction or maintenance of utilities or buildings while construction or maintenance is actually taking place if not interfering with other traffic or public safety.
(D) Delivery vehicles while actually in the course of making deliveries if not interfering with other traffic or public safety.
(E) Moving vans and trailers while making a delivery provided it not be parked on a city street for longer than seventy two (72) hours and it does not interfere with other traffic or public safety. (Ord. 1236, 6-17-2008)
