11-1-7: BARRICADING STREETS:
Whenever a street is in a dangerous condition, or is being repaired, or is hazardous for the travel of vehicles upon such street, the chief of police shall have authority to prohibit vehicles and/or pedestrians from crossing or traveling upon such street, and it shall be unlawful for any person to refuse to comply with any order of a police officer, sign, signal or direction given in compliance with this section.
