10-2-2: ANIMALS AND FOWL AT LARGE PROHIBITED; IMPOUNDING:
   (A)   Animals: It shall be unlawful for any horses, mules, asses, cattle, swine, sheep or goats to run at large within the corporate limits of the city.
      If any horse, mule, ass, cattle, swine, sheep or goat shall be allowed or permitted to run at large and unguarded, within the corporate limits of the city, it shall be the duty of the chief of police or animal control supervisor to take up such animal and hold the same in a place to be designated by the city council until the owners thereof shall call for and pay all charges and damages assessed against such animal, or until the same shall be disposed of as hereinafter provided.    (B)   Fowl: Every person owning or having in his care or under his control any chicken, duck, goose or fowl of whatsoever kind who shall permit the same to run at large within the corporate limits of the city shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 137, 3-22-1916; amd. 1981 Code)
