10-1-2: APPOINTMENT AND QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBERS:

The Mayor, with the consent of the Council, shall appoint the Chief of Police and the authorized policemen provided for in Section 10-1-1 of this Chapter and he shall have authority, with the consent of the Council, to appoint special policemen from time to time as exigencies arise. (Ord. 457, 9-4-1951)
