2-8-1: POWER TO ISSUE SPECIAL PERMITS:

The city council and mayor are hereby granted the power to issue special permits which suspend certain ordinances and code sections of this code for places, times and dates set forth in such special permits when requested to do so by the Buhl chamber of commerce or special event sponsor, subject to the conditions and restrictions set out in this chapter. 2-8-2: ORDINANCES AND CODE SECTIONS SUSPENDED:

The ordinances or code sections which can be suspended are those relating to the place of sale and consumption of beer and wine, open container laws relating to pedestrians only, motor vehicle parking and street closures, and such other items as the Buhl chamber of commerce or special event sponsor might request and the city council and mayor permit.
