ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS

SECTION 6.01 . ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS CREATED.

   For the purpose of carrying out the administrative functions of the City, the following departments are created under the general control and supervision of the Mayor: Department of Law; Department of Finance; Department of Parks and Recreation; Department of Streets; Department of Waste Water Treatment; Department of Police; Department of Fire; and Department of Engineering.

SECTION 6.02 . ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISIONS.

   The administrative departments created by this Charter or by the Council may be divided into such divisions, bureaus, and offices as the Council shall determine by ordinance or resolution.
