RULES AND REGULATIONS
AUTHORITY: The Airport Manager shall at all times have authority to take such action as may be necessary to safeguard all persons in attendance at the Airport.
SCOPE: All persons on any part of the property comprising the Airport, shall be governed by the regulations prescribed herein and instructions of the Manager relative to the use of any part of the property comprising the Airport. Theses regulations are subject to amendment.
PENALTIES: The Airport Manager may remove or evict from the Airport premises any persons who knowingly or willfully violates any rule or regulation prescribed herein, or any rule or regulation of the Federal Aviation Administration or the State of Ohio, and may deny the use of the Airport and its facilities to any such person if it is determined that such denial is in the public interest.
AIRPORT LIABILITY: The City, its agents or employees shall not be liable for loss, damage or injury to persons or property arising from accident, incident, or mishap of any nature whatsoever and/or from any cause whatsoever to any individual, aircraft, or property, occurring on the Airport or in the use of any of the Airport.
CONDITIONS: The permission granted by the City of Bellefontaine, to use the said Airport and its facilities, shall be at all time conditioned upon the assumption of full responsibility therefore, by every person exercising or taking advantage of such permission. It shall be a further condition thereof that each person, as a consideration for the use of said Airport and its facilities, shall at all times, release, hold harmless, and indemnify the City of Bellefontaine and/or its agents and employees from and against any and all responsibility, liability, loss or damage resulting to any such person, or caused by or on his behalf, and incident to the manner in which the Airport is operated, constructed, maintained, or served from within or without. The use of said Airport by any person for any purpose, or the paying of any fees therefore, or the operation of aircraft thereon, shall be in itself an acknowledgment that such persons accept such privileges on the conditions herein set forth. All pilots, commercial operators, or other person shall use the Bellefontaine Regional Airport at their own risk, and in case of failure of any municipally owned equipment, the City of Bellefontaine will not assume the responsibility.
