GENERAL PROVISIONS
(A) Each occupied residence and each commercial business in the city shall connect, at the owner’s expense, to the city’s sanitary sewer system if the system is within 150 feet of the wastewater system.
(B) In the event that a business or a residence is within 150 feet of a water or sewer line, but a highway bore will be required of more than 75 feet through paved road, then connection by the property owner in question shall not be mandatory.
(C) In the event that a property owner can show extreme financial hardship, then a variance of this requirement or an extension of time to hook up may be granted by the City Council.
