Parks and Recreation
         EDITOR’S NOTE:  Recreation fees are established periodically by ordinance.  Because of the frequency of change, they are not codified.  Copies of the latest relevant legislation may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council.

   925.01  NONRESIDENT PASSES FOR MUNICIPAL POOL.
   Nonresidents who are employed in the City shall be issued a limited pool pass to use the City Municipal Pool on Monday through Friday, inclusive, except that such passes shall not be valid for use on holidays and shall not authorize the nonresident’s family or guests to use the Pool.  Applicants must present a letter from their employer or other proof of employment with the City.

   925.02  BASKETBALL COURTS.
   (a)    Use of Courts Limited to Residents. The use of basketball courts within City parks and recreational facilities shall be limited to residents of the City and guests accompanying residents. Residency may be demonstrated by a government issued identification card. The Mayor and/or the Community Services Director may further limit guest privileges if such further limitation is deemed necessary by the Mayor and/or the Community Services Director.
   (b)    Use of Courts by Camps and Instructional Clinics. City of Beachwood camps and instructional clinics shall be given first priority on the use of basketball courts within City parks and recreational facilities.
   (c)    Rules. The Mayor and/or the Community Services Director are authorized to promulgate additional rules as the Mayor or Director may deem necessary to protect residents in the use of the basketball courts or to preserve the basketball courts.
   (d)    Signs. The Community Services Director shall post signs notifying visitors and users of basketball courts within City parks and recreational facilities of the limitations on use set forth in this section and any rules that may be promulgated by the Mayor and/or the Community Services Director.
