(a) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by and for the City the Ohio Building Code (OBC), being particularly the current edition thereof, as adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, Department of Industrial Relations, save and except such portions thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted.
(b) The edition of the Ohio Mechanical Code (OMC), the current edition of the Ohio Plumbing Code (OPC), and the current edition of the National Electric Code (NFPA 70), the current edition of the International Energy Code, as adopted by the Board of Building Standards, Department of Industrial Relations, are hereby adopted by reference, save and except such portions thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted.
