SECTION 40A. DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION.
   The Department of Recreation shall be headed by the Director of Recreation who shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the concurrence of a majority of the members of Council. The Director of Recreation shall serve a term not longer than the term of the Mayor who appoints him/her. The duties, salary and compensation for this position shall be determined by the Council.
