The Public Works Department Foreman shall be entitled to accumulate up to forty hours per year of compensatory time in lieu of overtime pay. Requests for use of compensatory time shall be made by the employee to the Public Works Director, who shall have sole discretion in compensatory time usage. Unused compensatory time shall be cashed out at the end of each calendar year.
