§ 7-4.01 FINDINGS.

   The Council hereby declares and finds that there is a need for a Redevelopment Agency to function in the city. This declaration is made pursuant to the provisions of Division 24 of Part 1 of the Community Redevelopment Law (Cal. Health and Safety Code §§ 33000 et seq.).

§ 7-4.02 DESIGNATION OF COUNCIL.

   The Council does declare itself to be the Redevelopment Agency of the city pursuant to the provisions of Cal. Health and Safety Code §§ 33200 and further declares that all of the rights, powers, duties, privileges, and immunities of the said Community Redevelopment Law are vested in the Council.

§ 7-4.03 DESIGNATION OF NAME.

   The Redevelopment Agency created pursuant to the provisions of this chapter is hereby designated as “The Antioch Development Agency.”
