351.99 PENALTY.
   (a)   Whoever violates any section or portion thereof of this chapter concerned with parking in excess of the time limits permitted for the areas designated or who parks in violation of permitted time periods, specifically Sections 351.10(b), 351.13(d) and (e), 351.14, 351.16(b), 351.17(c) and 351.18, shall be subject to parking tickets as outlined in subsections (b) and (c) hereof.

   (b)   Parking tickets as outlined in subsection (a) hereof shall be in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each violation if paid within seventy-two hours.
   (c)   Parking tickets as outlined in subsection (a) hereof, if paid after seventy-two hours shall be in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each violation.

   (d)   Whoever has not duly paid parking tickets as listed under subsection (a), (b) or (c) hereof shall be notified by mail of such delinquency and shall be cited into court.

   (e)   Whoever violates Section 351.04(a) or (b) concerned with parking so as to block sidewalks or driveway shall be subject to parking tickets in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each violation.

   (f)   Whoever violates Section 351.05(f)(1)A.1. or Section 351.05(f)(1)A.2. shall be fined not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00). An offender who violates Section 351.05(f)(1)A.1. or Section 351.05(f)(1)A.2. shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) if the offender, prior to sentencing, proves either of the following to the satisfaction of the court:
      (1)   At the time of the violation of Section 351.05(f)(1)A.1. the offender or the person for whose transport the motor vehicle was being operated had been issued a removable windshield placard that then was valid or special license plates as described in Section 351.05(f)(1)A.1.; or
      (2)   At the time of the violation of Section 351.05(f)(1)A.2. the offender or the person for whose transport the motor vehicle was being operated had been issued a parking card that then was valid or special handicapped license plates that then were valid but the offender or the person neglected to display the card or license plate as described in Section 351.05(f)(2)A.2.

   (g)   Whoever violates any other provision of this chapter shall be subject to misdemeanor classifications and penalties as outlined in Section 303.99.
