(A) Any person being the owner, agent of the owner, or having control of any property, who violates any of the provisions of this chapter or fails to conform to any of the provisions thereof, or fails to obey any order of the Building Commissioner or his duly authorized agent shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be subject to a penalty of a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $1,000. Each and every day on which such person continues to violate any of the provisions of this chapter after having been once notified of such violation shall constitute a separate offense.
(B) Any person who shall violate or assist in the violation of this chapter, or of any order or permit issued thereunder, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof be subject to a penalty of a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $1,000.
