BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

(A) The Mayor, when present, shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Commissioners. When there is an equal division on any question, or on the election of officers, he or she shall determine that matter by his or her vote.
(B) He or she shall vote in no other case, unless specifically provided for in the code. In case of his or her absence, the Mayor Pro Tempore shall exercise the duties of Mayor.

(A) Except where otherwise provided by law or ordinance, the procedure of the Board of Commissioners shall be governed by Robert’s Rules of Order if not covered by the Suggested Rules of Procedure For a City Council published by the School of Government.
(B) Regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners shall be held on the first Monday in each month at 7:00 p.m., except when the first Monday in a given month falls on a legal holiday, in which case the regular meeting for that month shall be held on the day and time specified by the Board of Commissioners.
