163.58 BOARD OF CONTROL MEMBERS; MANAGEMENT, NON-CLASSIFIED.

(a) This section specifically refers to the positions outlined in Sections 4, 23, 24, 25 and 110 of the Charter. The positions designated comprise the Board of Control and specifically are as follows:

(1) Mayor.

(2) Law Director.

(3) Director of Finance.

(b) The persons in the positions stated above, are management, non-classified employees of the City and shall be treated as other non-classified employees for the purposes of application of City ordinances related to non-salary compensation and benefits such as insurance, copays and PERS pickups, with the exception of accumulation of vacation, compensatory or accumulated time as outlined in Section 163.39 of the Administrative Code. This section does not supercede any charter provision or ordinance specifically addressing Board of Control members’ compensation or benefits.
