339.12 MAXIMUM GROSS VEHICLE LOAD PERMITTED ON BRIDGES.

   (a)   No vehicle shall be operated upon the public bridges, herein designated, within this Municipality, when its maximum gross vehicle load exceeds those specified in this section:

      (1)   No such vehicle shall have a weight in excess of five tons on the West Avenue Bridge Structure, over the Mahoning River.

      (2)   The load limit shall be reduced from State load limit of forty tons to gross vehicle weight of thirty-six tons on the following bridges: Watt Street Bridge over Conrail, Structure File No. 5060516.

      (3)   No such vehicle shall have a weight in excess of five tons passing over the Milton Avenue Bridge between Calvary Run Road and Price Road.

      (4)   No such vehicle shall have a weight in excess of eight tons on the Fifth Avenue Bridge over Crandall Run.

   (b)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
