1744.20 PREVENTATIVE HEALTH AND SANITATION MEASURES.

(a) Each group home shall take measures to prevent and remove insects and rodents from infesting the premises. Extermination of insects and rodents shall be carried out in such a manner as not to create a fire or health hazard.

(b) Each group home shall have sufficient garbage and refuse receptacles to accommodate refuse. Garbage and refuse receptacles shall be durable and shall be kept covered with a tight-fitting lid at all times. All garbage and refuse shall be removed from the facility daily. Each group home must arrange for independent trash and garbage removal.

(c) A group home shall eliminate odors at their source by prompt and thorough cleaning and disinfecting of commodes, urinals, bathrooms and other obvious sources.
