547.16 EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMMISSION; DUTIES.

   The authority and responsibility for execution of the policies of the Human Relations Commission is hereby conferred by contract upon an Executive Director who shall contract with the Board of Control following discussion with the Commission. The Executive Director shall be responsible, subject to Section 547.17, for the recruitment, training and supervision of the professional and clerical staff and shall be in charge of the administration and operation of the Human Relations Commission. The Executive Director shall be responsible to assist the Commission in achieving the purposes under Section 547.09 and in performing all duties covered under Section 547.14 and shall perform additional duties as determined by the Commission, in keeping with the contract between the Executive Director and the Board of Control.
