Sec. 6-5.202.   Permits: Applications: Plans, profiles, and specifications.
   Any sewer line which connects to a public sewer, other than a building sewer and house connection sewer, shall be classified as a public sewer line and shall be subject to the submittal of plans, profiles, and specifications as required. The application for a permit for public sewer construction shall be accompanied by complete plans, profiles, and specifications complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the District and the County. Such plans, profiles, and specifications shall be prepared by a registered civil engineer and show all details of the proposed work based on an accurate survey of ground. The application, together with the plans, profiles, and specifications, shall be examined by the Engineering Division which shall, within thirty (30) days, approve them as filed or require them to be modified as is deemed necessary for proper installation. After examination by the Engineering Division, the application, plans, profiles, and specifications shall be submitted to the Director of Public Works for his review and comments. When the Director of Public Works is satisfied that the proposed work is proper and the plans, profiles, and specifications are sufficient and correct, he shall sign each original tracing and shall order the issuance of a permit predicated upon the payment of all connection charges and fees and furnishing bonds as required by the Engineer.
