The County Counsel shall discharge all the duties vested by law in the District Attorney, other than those of a public prosecutor, as follows: Those duties set forth in Chapter 12 of Part 3 of Division 2 of Title 3 of the Government Code of the State, except the duties set forth in Sections 27642 and 27643 of the Government Code of the State.
