150.157: STAY OF ENFORCEMENT:
Once the appropriate authority determines a violation of the international property maintenance code exists, a property owner may be eligible for a stay of enforcement of such violation if, within the ten (10) day notice period provided herein, the property owner makes application to receive assistance through the Woodward neighborhood initiative program. The stay of enforcement provided herein shall continue until such time as the parks and beautification board makes a determination as to eligibility to participate in the Woodward neighborhood initiative program. If the parks and beautification board makes a determination that the property owner is not eligible, the ten (10) day notice as provided herein shall begin on the date of said determination. If the parks and beautification board makes a determination that the property owner is eligible, the stay of enforcement shall continue for a period of ninety (90) days. If the specific violation is not remedied within that time period, the city may recommence enforcement action as provided herein. (Ord. 1575, 1-22-2013)
