93.01: DEFINITIONS:
For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning:
AIR NAVIGATION FACILITY OR FACILITY: Any facility other than one owned and operated by United States Of America used in, available for use in, or designed for use in, aid of air navigation, including any structures, mechanisms, lights, beacons, markers, communicating systems or other instrumentalities, or devices used or useful as an aid, or constituting an advantage or convenience, to the safe take off, navigation and landing of aircraft, or the safe and efficient operation or maintenance of an airport, and any combination of any or all of such facilities.
AIRPORT: Any area of land or water designated, set aside, used, or intended for use, for the landing and take off of aircraft, and any appurtenant areas designated, set aside, used, or intended for use, for airport buildings or other airport facilities, rights of way, or approach zones, together with all airport buildings and facilities located thereon.
AUTHORITY: The Woodward Municipal Airport authority as created by this chapter. (2001 Code § 93.01)
