70.075: REPORT OF ACCIDENT:
The driver of a vehicle which is in any manner involved in an accident resulting in bodily injury to or death of any person or in which it is apparent that damage to one vehicle or other property is in excess of one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall, as soon as practicable, report such accident to a police officer or to the police department. Making out a written report of the accident in the office of the police department as soon as practicable after the accident to be forwarded to the department of public safety of the state, in accordance with law, shall also be deemed compliance with this section.
