§ 237.03 MAYOR’S ACCOUNT.
   (a)   The funds of the Mayor’s account shall be deposited in its name with the First National Bank of Cincinnati, Woodlawn Branch, and are subject to withdrawal by checks, drafts, bills of exchange, acceptances, promissory notes or other orders for the payment of money, made, signed, drawn, accepted or endorsed in the corporate name and signed by the Mayor, including those drawn to the individual order of any officer or other person signing the same without further inquiry or regard to the authority of the person or the use of any such check, draft, bill of exchange, acceptance or promissory note or the proceeds thereof.

   (b)   The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to transfer the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00) from the General Fund into the Mayor’s account to be used for Mayor’s Court purposes, which sum shall be used as a cash reserve in the Mayor’s account for the purpose of covering insufficient fund checks written to the Village by persons charged with traffic or misdemeanor offenses who pay their fines and costs out of court.
