(a) Upon written information that any of the conditions set out in Sections 917.01
to 917.03
exist, the Fiscal Officer shall cause written notice to be served upon the owner, occupant, lessee, agent or other person having charge or management of such lot or parcel of land, notifying him of the existence of such condition and that such condition shall be removed within five days. If the owner or other person having charge of such land is know, such notice shall be sent to his address by certified mail. If the address is unknown, it shall be sufficient to publish such notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the Municipality.

(b) The Fiscal Officer may also serve written notice upon the owner or other person having charge of such land by having the Chief of Police, or the Fire Prevention Officer of the Municipality serve a copy of such notice upon the owner or other person having charge of such land personally.
