Building Administration
1301.01   Code Enforcement Officer.
 
1301.01 CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.
   (a)   The position of Code Enforcement Officer is hereby reorganized as follows: the Code Enforcement Officer shall be appointed for a one year term by the Mayor subject to the approval of a majority of Council. The Mayor shall make his appointment at the first regularly scheduled Council meeting of each calendar year. Council shall approve or deny the Mayor’s appointment within thirty days of the first regularly scheduled Council meeting of each calendar year.
   (b)   The compensation, benefits and duties of the Code Enforcement Officer shall be set by Council and the Codified Ordinances of the Village.

   (c)   The position of Code Enforcement Officer is hereby made a part-time position.
