A. Any person convicted of a violation of any section or provision of this chapter, where no other penalty is set forth, shall be punished by a fine as provided in section 13-1-4 of this Code. In addition thereto, the Village shall not issue permits of any kind within its jurisdiction to the offending party until the said party has complied with the provisions of this chapter. In addition to any ordinance violation prosecution authorized by law, the Village Manager is hereby authorized to direct the Village Attorney to file suit to recover any and all costs incurred by the Village for any damage to any part of the combined waterworks and sewerage system of the Village or any water meter as determined by the Public Works Director, including, but not limited to: estimated water usage and overhead costs, any Village staff time and equipment including overhead used to repair any damage and any Village payments to contractors for the same.
