(a) Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of the 2013 Residential Code of Ohio, as adopted in Section 1305.01, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) or imprisoned not more than 60 days, or both, for each offense; unless, however:
(1) Within ten days of receiving notice of such violation the violator shall pay an administrative fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) and provide proof of correction of the subject violation, then, in that event, said notice of violation shall be withdrawn; or
(2) If the violator shall fail, within ten days of receiving notice of such violation to pay the aforesaid administrative fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) and provide proof of correction of the subject violation, then, in that event, if the violator shall, within 30 days of receiving notice of such violation pay an administrative fee of two hundred dollars ($200.00) and provide proof of correction of the subject violation, then, in that event, said notice of violation shall be withdrawn.
(b) A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
