905.13 REMOVAL OF TREES OR SHRUBS BY THE CITY.
   Whenever in the opinion of the Director of Public Service the cutting, trimming or destruction of any tree or shrub located on private grounds shall be deemed wise in the interests of public health or safety, the Director shall have the authority to cut, trim or destroy such trees or shrubs, or cause or order the same to be cut, trimmed or destroyed.
   In the event that the owner, occupant or person having charge or management of a lot or parcel of land has been served with the written notice provided for in Section 905.12, then the cost of such cutting, trimming or destruction by the Director or his authorized agent shall be a charge upon the real property on which such vegetation was located. Such cost shall be certified by the Director to the Director of Finance who shall have the authority to collect such costs and deposit them in the proper account.
