147.01 DIRECTOR; POWERS.

   (a)   The office of Director of Public Service for the City is hereby established.

   (b)   The Director, when appointed in accordance with the provisions of the City Charter, shall be the head of the Department of Public Service and have such powers and authority, and shall perform such duties, as are prescribed therefor by the provisions of the City Charter.
