§ 150.12 STOP WORK ORDERS.
   The Code Enforcement Officer shall have authority to issue stop-work orders in cases where signs are being installed or constructed in violation of this subchapter. Upon issuance of a stop-work order from the Code Enforcement Officer, work on any sign that is being installed shall immediately cease. The stop-work order shall be in writing and shall be given to the owner of the property, or to his or her agent, or to the person doing the work. Following the issuance of a stop-work order, the Code Enforcement Officer shall order removal of the sign.
