§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Generally.
      (1)   Whenever in this title an act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, or wherever in this title the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful, and no specific penalty is otherwise provided in this code of ordinances, the violation shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500; provided, however, that no penalty shall be greater or less than the penalty provided for the same or a similar offense of the laws of the state.
      (2)   Each day a violation of this code or of any ordinance continues shall constitute a separate offense.
   (B)   Section 71.01. Any person or persons violating any provisions of § 71.01 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $200.
   (C)   Chapter 73, Schedule I. Any person violating any of the provisions of Chapter 73, Schedule I, shall by deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall by fined in any sum not more than $200.
   (D)   Chapter 73, Schedule II. Any person violating the provisions of Chapter 73, Schedule II, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.
   (E)   Chapter 74, Schedule I. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this schedule, or who shall fail to comply with the terms thereof, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than $1 nor more than $200. The violation of each separate provision shall be considered a separate offense.
