(A) Providing maximum speed limit near schools. The maximum speed limit within the same block of any school shall be 20 mph, and when signs are erected, as provided herein, it shall be unlawful for any person to drive any vehicle at a speed greater than the limit between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. when school is in session.
(B) Authorizing the Police Chief to erect signs. The Police Chief shall erect appropriate signs stating the maximum speed limit to be 20 mph within the same block of any school.
