304.05 REMOVAL AND NOTICE.
   (a)    No person in charge or control of any property within the City whether as owner, tenant, occupant, lessee, licensee or otherwise, shall allow any partially dismantled, nonoperating, wrecked, junked or abandoned vehicle or storage of automobiles for sale or otherwise which are unregistered as defined in Section 304.04(c) even if of value, to remain on such property longer than seven days after receipt of written notice from the Director of Public Safety, or any member of his department designated by him, to remove such vehicle from such property; except that this section shall not apply to a vehicle in an enclosed building or to commercial garages, new or used car sales lots, automobile storage lots or junk yards operated in a lawful manner as provided by the zoning laws of the City.
   (b)    Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. (Ord. 78-87. Passed 11-3-87.)
