161.08 LIFE INSURANCE.

(a) The Mayor is hereby authorized to contract with the lowest and best bidder according to law for a life insurance plan for City officials and full-time employees, as defined by Section 161.07(d).

(b) The Auditor and Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay the cost of a life insurance policy for City officials as defined by Section 161.07(d)(1), and full-time employees, in an amount of benefit payable as determined and authorized by Section 161.07(c)(4) of the Administrative Code or provisions of the individual employee's bargaining unit's contract.

(c) The Auditor and Treasurer are authorized to make such payments for coverage from the various numbered accounts as may be created from time to time by ordinance for such use and purposes. (Ord. 104-93. Passed 12-21-93.)
