145.055 ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE FOR ANIMAL CONTROL AND CODE ENFORCEMENT.

(b) The holder of the position of Animal Control and Code Enforcement Officer shall be appointed by the Director of Public Service and shall serve at the pleasure of the Director, and pursuant to Division (7), Section 58 of the Charter, shall not be in the classified service of the City.

(c) The Director shall determine the salary of the Animal Control and Code Enforcement Officer within a range as shall be authorized by Council.
