913.11 CLEANING VAULTS; TANKS.

    Privy vaults and chemical privy tanks shall be cleaned thoroughly once each year or oftener if necessary. The vault or tank shall not be permitted to become filled to the top. The cleaning of a privy vault and chemical privy tank and the removal of the contents thereof shall be done only at such times and in such manner as the Department of Health may specify. No person shall remove or permit or cause to be removed the contents of a privy vault or chemical privy tank without a written permit from the Department of Health; except that a licensed cleaner having a permit, as provided in Section 913.22 may be considered authorized to do such work without an additional permit. Such permit shall state the conditions under which such removal and disposal shall be made. (Ord. 49-66. Passed 5-17-66.)
