(a) For all employees not subject to Section 159.04 of the Codified Ordinances, a uniform allowance shall be available annually, beginning in 2018, as follows:
Full-time employees $450.00
Permanent part-time employees $225.00
(b) When, in the opinion of the Village Manager, the work being performed by an employee requires the use of special protective clothing, the Municipality shall furnish and pay for such items as may be necessary.
(c) When a newly employed member of the Auxiliary Police is hired, he shall not be subject to the provisions for police uniform allowance set forth in Section 159.05; but he/she shall be outfitted with the required uniform and equipment to perform their duties as approved by the Chief of Police. Thereafter, after the first anniversary of the date of hire, he/she shall be entitled to the benefit applicable to a part-time employee under subsection (a), above.
