The city may revoke any permit for sewage disposal as a result of any violation of any provision of this Article III, or violation of regulations of other agencies having lawful jurisdiction. Upon revocation of any permit to discharge, the person violating the ordinance or regulation shall cease and desist discharge of wastewater or industrial waste to the public sewer system and treatment works, and shall not continue the discharge in any manner that would violate state, federal or local pollution control laws and regulations. Any person who shall violate or fail to comply with any provision of this code shall be subject to the general penalty described in Division IV of Chapter 1 of this code of ordinances.
