(A) Whenever a meter, regulator or other equipment of a service connection which has been installed by the city is damaged, damages shall become the liability of the customer, who shall pay the city the actual cost of the removal, repairing and/or replacement of such damaged equipment.
(B) In the event such damage has caused inaccurate metering, then such gas bills shall be corrected in the manner previously provided for herein to cover such period that the meter was out of order.
